Community Centre Rental Rates

Chairs & Tables - No charge with room rental.
For example, a person can hold a birthday party for twenty children & guardians in the Community Room and it will cost $75/half day for room, $27.00 for insurance and $10 for kitchen.
If Contract Holder decorates for an event, NO tape of any kind shall be used on walls. Please use white Instant Tack. At the end of the event, please leave the building as clean as you found it. The Contract Holder shall: wipe all chairs & tables; return chairs & tables correctly back in rooms where they were found; remove all decorations; sweep and/or mop floors; insure all garbage is taken with Contract Holder, secure the building, and return keys to TACA Building Coordinator. All events must be supervised by an adult (21 years of age or older) who is named in the agreement.
For payment, two cheques or cash must be provided. One cheque made out to TACA for the room rental, kitchen fees and the insurance. A $200 certified cheque or money order (made out to TACA), or cash for the security deposit prior to an event is also required. Your Security Deposit may be forfeited if the above conditions are not completed. Charges towards the Security Deposit shall be based on $200 for lost keys, $20 for each filled garbage bag left behind and a rate of $40/hour for any required work. Required work includes sweeping, cleaning or arranging equipment that takes more than 10 minutes of TACA volunteer's time.
