What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is a meditative experience where you are “bathed” in sound waves. The sound waves are produced by various healing instruments but the waves don't necessarily have a catchy melody or rhythm like you may have experienced at a concert or listening to the radio. Instead, they are a carefully selected wash of instruments with notable resonance and overtones aiming to help ease listeners into relaxation and help balance their energy. Let your mind drift away to the beautiful sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks, bells, shakers, drum, gong, and more. Sound baths can be a great way to relieve stress and tension. They create the perfect environment for deep healing of the body, mind, & spirit! The session will start with a guided meditation to help ease you into the experience.

What to bring?
Yoga mat, pillow, blanket, and anything else you need to be cozy and comfortable when lying down. If you are less mobile, you are welcome to bring a folding chair or stool to sit on.

Everyone’s income is different and Clare recognizes the need for energy healing services to be more affordable & accessible. By offering services through her clinic using a sliding scale payment system as well as collaborating with other local businesses and organizations, Clare aims to open the door wider so that more people can embark on their healing or end-of-life journey with love, care, compassion, and dignity.

Holiday Food Drive

‘Tis the season of giving… and giving back!

This year, we’re kicking off the holiday season by giving back to those who need it most.

We’ve partnered with FAMSAC to collect food donations for local families in need.

Drop in to donate anytime from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Dec 6 at 50 Bellman. Donations should be non-perishable items which have not yet reached their best before date.

You can also make a financial contribution through the FAMSAC website. Simply use the "Make this donation in memory of..." option and then enter "TACA" as the name so that we can track how much we’ve donated as a community.

FAMSAC is a charitable organization that provides emergency food assistance to local communities, including Trend Arlington.

Winter Seeds, Spring Blooms

Your TACA Green Team and the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library (OWSL) are inviting you to help re-wild our neighbourhood!

1. Discover why native plants matter
2. Hands-On Activity: Winter Seed Sowing
3. Removing Invasive Plants, Restoring Natives

Choose how you’d like to help bring more native plants to Trend Arlington:
Plant natives in your own yard
Help transform the community centre garden into a demonstration Native Plant Garden
Join the TACA Green Team to remove invasives and restore native species throughout the neighbourhood

What You’ll Need
• Small containers (yogurt containers with holes in the bottom or regular planting pots)
• Soil (ProMix works well; try to bring just what you need)
• Spade, spoon for scooping soil and gloves if you would like

In the spring, we’ll gather again to rewild our neighbourhood, together!
