What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is a meditative experience where you are “bathed” in sound waves. The sound waves are produced by various healing instruments but the waves don't necessarily have a catchy melody or rhythm like you may have experienced at a concert or listening to the radio. Instead, they are a carefully selected wash of instruments with notable resonance and overtones aiming to help ease listeners into relaxation and help balance their energy. Let your mind drift away to the beautiful sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks, bells, shakers, drum, gong, and more. Sound baths can be a great way to relieve stress and tension. They create the perfect environment for deep healing of the body, mind, & spirit! The session will start with a guided meditation to help ease you into the experience.
What to bring?
Yoga mat, pillow, blanket, and anything else you need to be cozy and comfortable when lying down. If you are less mobile, you are welcome to bring a folding chair or stool to sit on.

TACA Crafting Saturdays
Bring your creativity and spend the day sewing, scrapbooking, painting — or working on any project that’s low on fumes but big on fun!
It’s just $10 per participant to drop in. Come meet your neighbours, get inspired, and make progress on your craft (or finally finish that thing you started months ago)!
Winter Seeds, Spring Blooms
Your TACA Green Team and the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library (OWSL) are inviting you to help re-wild our neighbourhood!
1. Discover why native plants matter
2. Hands-On Activity: Winter Seed Sowing
3. Removing Invasive Plants, Restoring Natives
Choose how you’d like to help bring more native plants to Trend Arlington:
Plant natives in your own yard
Help transform the community centre garden into a demonstration Native Plant Garden
Join the TACA Green Team to remove invasives and restore native species throughout the neighbourhood
What You’ll Need
• Small containers (yogurt containers with holes in the bottom or regular planting pots)
• Soil (ProMix works well; try to bring just what you need)
• Spade, spoon for scooping soil and gloves if you would like
In the spring, we’ll gather again to rewild our neighbourhood, together!
