Pavillion Art Project

  • 50 Bellman Drive Ottawa Canada (map)

Join artist Jennifer Anne Kelly and fellow community members in creating ReWilding, a public art project hosted by the Public Art Project from the City of Ottawa for the pavillion! Inspired by how butterflies are among the first species to return to a forest after devastation, this project symbolizes renewal and resilience—something our community deeply connects with after the 2018 tornado.

Jennifer is inviting community members to help design the butterflies that will be displayed in the rafters of the pavillion. The final pieces will incorporate wood from the fallen trees of the storm, adding a meaningful connection to our shared history. Stay tuned for event details, and be part of this beautiful collaboration!
