NOTE: We regret our event falls during the celebration of Rosh Hashanah. Unfortunately due to bookings and permits that are non-transferable we are not able to reschedule the event. We will be sure to consider religious holidays when booking our events in the future.
This year we mark the 5 year tornado anniversary and honour how our community came together to support one another in the aftermath.
Arlington Woods Church was devastated by the tornado but has since been restored. They will kick off the day's activities by opening their doors at 225 McClellan Rd and welcoming the community into their White Pine Café from 8:00AM-12:00PM for coffee and treats free of charge.
TACA will host the community at 50 Bellman Drive and Trend Arlington Park from 11:00AM to 3:00PM. This is an event you won't want to miss with a Food Truck, Live Music, a Mini Market, a Beer Tent, Games and MORE!
Bring your own lawn chairs or picnic blanket, and we'll bring the fun!
MINI MARKET
Local makers will be selling their goods from 11AM to 3PM. We'll also be selling our TACA t-shirts in various sizes for the whole family. Be sure to come by!
FOOD TRUCK
Lou Fast Food will be serving up fries, poutine, hot dogs, hamburgers, and sausages.
LIVE MUSIC
We will have performances by the Trend Arlington Trio of residents Bill Brown, Matt Kennedy and our Ward 9 City Councillor Sean Devine (12:00PM - 1:00PM) and by Monkey Rock Music (1:30PM - 2:30PM).
BEER & CONCESSIONS
TACA will be selling beers for $6, and pop, chips, water, cookies and other treats for $1 each.
All proceeds will be going towards future TACA Programming.
GAMES & PRIZES
Come play giant Jenga, cornhole and participate in potato sack races! We will have prizes too for SuperDome activities!
Big thank you to our event sponsors who helped to make this event possible: Ben Franklin Superdome, Heith Gharib, and Ward 9 City Councillor Sean Devine.
